Memories

Memories are vicious things. They hunt you and remind you of your most dreadful mistakes, until you understand what you have done.

Zhaikes arranged his arm and moved his fingers, the artificial ones, and ignored the flimsy pain. It was easy to recall the past—too easy to be precise. Eventually he was staring at his hand and the empty air above. The moments stretched while he struggled with himself. He shouldn’t waste his time with this. Why would he want to see her anyway? This was a stupid whim, the most dangerous of all.
And despite every reason he summoned the bright blue beams of light, feeling the energy floating through his cybernetic veins. Tiny dots danced between his fingers, swirled through the atmosphere and took finally shape. The projection was active now, showing a human face and her smile.


That creature again—I know, there is not so much diversity in my subissions right now, but at least I managed to draw his arm (metal parts and cyborg stuff, it took me forever  ) AND there is a human! My friends complained, that I never draw "pretty" things, only monsters and ugly beings. Well, at least I drew the backside of Lara, tadaa...
